If you need wiki support, have any queries or wish to report something, check out the #atl-wiki channel on the Discord server!
To contact the administrators, you can open a ticket with /ticket on the Discord or email an administrator via the emails listed on the contact page.
Don't be afraid to edit - Anyone can edit almost every page; just find something that can be improved and make it better! You can add content, uploading free use images, check pages meet the guidelines or improve prose to make articles more readable!
How to Start Editing
The best place to start is the Contributing Guide, it's fine if you are overwhelmed or don't know where to start, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first.
- Review the guidelines page and the Code of Conduct as they contain the standards and policies of the wiki.
- For users new to Mediawiki check out the Mediawiki's Editing Guide for how Mediawiki markup works.
- Pages in need of edits can be found on Category:Needs Citations or Category:Pages Needing Cleanup.
- Look for pages which may need improvement on the recent changes log.
- Check out Special:WantedPages for the most linked-to pages which don't exist.
atl.wiki has 5 key values which underpins everything we do on the wiki and its guidelines, if anything remember these 5 values when editing on the wiki.
- Accuracy: Content should always be cited appropriately, up-to-date and high quality.
- Impartiality: Content should always be unbiased to avoid misleading users and advocacy.
- Consistency: Content should always be up to the highest of standards and be formatted according to the guidelines.
- Courtesy: Editors should be respectful to other users and work together to make an amazing resource, and always act in good faith.
- Accessibility: Content should be written so that any user of any ability can understand and make use of it.
