Hyfetch is an actively developed fork of Neofetch and is a command-line system information tool written in Bash and Python which displays information about your operating system, software and hardware with the option to color the logos with pride flags.
Features
Due to Hyfetch being a direct fork of Neofetch, many of the features from it are available on Hyfetch, with the addition of some other ones such as the aforementioned ability to color the distro logo with pride flags and the ability to use a different backend for Hyfetch, such as Fastfetch.
If the pride flag feature is not desired, you can run the neowofetch
command, which is an actively maintained fork of Neofetch used as the default backend for Hyfetch.
neowofetch
Neowofetch is an actively maintained fork of Neofetch bundled with Hyfetch as the default backend. It has all the features from the original, but it lacks the ability to color the logo with pride flags. Neowofetch was named this way to avoid naming conflicts with the original Neofetch.
Trivia
- If you run Hyfetch in the month of June, an animation will play of a bunch of pride flags scrolling in the background with an ASCII text box that says "Happy Pride Month!". This animation can be replayed with the
--june
option.
